The aim of this research is to answer the question: what is post-porn?, and to analyze its origins briefly to focus in the development that it has had in Spain. This research seeks to contextualize theoretically posporno analyzing the main artistic manifestations, taking into account the poststructuralist philosophy, performativity, queer theory, transfeminism, pro-sex feminism, pornopunk feminism, do it yourself / do it with others and political activism around non-normative sexual practices. First of all, it is necessary to delimit the concept of pornography. After this, the context which originates the post-porn, first applications and the actions that delimit and configure it, will be studied. To do this, the pioneer work in this field by Annie Sprinkle, as leading artist in this concept, still in active, and source of constant inspiration in the Spanish case, will be taken into consideration. The central corpus of the thesis stops at the contextualization and critical analysis of works and actions of artists and collectives that have worked (and still work) the post-porn in Spain. The works by Go Fist Foundation, O.R.G.I.A., María Llopis, Girlswholikeporno, Diana J. Torres aka Pornoterrorista, Quimera Rosa, Post-Op…, will be analyzed. In addition, special attention will be paid to the post-porn events, and how different art Institutions of the Spanish State have given place to these proposals" Menos |
